The seaside is one of Sam’s favourite places - evoking fond childhood memories of special days out & holidays at the seaside. When life was simple - shrimping in rock pools, building sandcastles, listening to the waves & seagulls...
 
Sam created this piece with coloured glass powders/pieces & metal inclusions, including 98% pure silver foil, to add interest. Zoom in on the images to see the different effects created in the glass.
 
This sculpture measures approximately 31cms wide & 34cms high, including the oak display stand. The glass is 30cms in diameter.
